Description

A practical privacy and data sovereignty workflow for organisations that need to know what information they collect, why they use it, where it moves and how it is protected through its lifecycle. Module 16 follows the KIS ISMS series with reusable policy, procedure and evidence tools that teams can tailor to their own scope and obligations.

What is included in v1.0.0

  • Privacy and data sovereignty policy and procedure — editable Word and matching PDF with accountable roles, data-flow and transfer review, purpose and notice checks, retention and disposal, rights-request handling, supplier review, incident coordination, a worked cloud-service example, readiness checklist and ISO reference map.
  • Working workbook — nine Excel tabs for Start Here, data inventory, flow and transfer, purpose and notice, retention and disposal, rights requests, breach triage, supplier review, and ISO and evidence tracking.
  • Team and management briefing — editable eight-slide PowerPoint deck.
  • Getting-started guidance and references — tailoring steps, delivery index, primary-source references and SHA-256 release manifest.

Download format

After purchase, download one ZIP bundle containing the editable Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, the matching PDF and the supporting guidance. No external service or account is required to open the files.

Designed for practical use

Start with one priority dataset. Record its purpose, people and systems, access roles, storage and support locations, recipients and subprocessors, retention trigger, disposal method and evidence. The worked cloud-service example traces hosting, backups, support access and subprocessors so a team can review a proposed data flow before approving a change.

Standards and use limits

The materials reference relevant ISO/IEC 27001:2022 clauses 4.2, 6.1.2, 6.1.3, 7.5, 8.1, 9.1, 9.2 and 10.2 and selected Annex A identifiers as implementation prompts. This is one focused module in a wider ISMS; it is not a complete ISO 27001 document set, certification, legal advice, a completed privacy assessment or a compliance guarantee. Tailor and formally approve the templates, confirm control applicability through your approved risk process and Statement of Applicability, obtain a licensed copy of the standard, and check current laws and contracts. Singapore PDPA examples are jurisdiction-dependent and require current legal review. KIS is not affiliated with or endorsed by ISO or IEC.

Licence and edition

Version 1.0.0 · reviewed 12 October 2026 · digital ZIP download · licensed for internal use by one organisation. Do not redistribute, resell, publish or provide the files as a client deliverable. A separate consultant or multi-entity licence is required for wider use.
